THANKS TO ALPINA WATCHES OF GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, ON THE EVENING OF SATURDAY 2ND OCTOBER, A LUCKY FEW HAD THE CHANCE TO DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY WITH STARS SUCH AS EVA LONGORIA, ASHLEY GREENE, HOLLY MARIE COMBS AND SHEMAR MOORE. STAR OF FILM AND TV, LAURENCE FISHBURNE, SAID ON BEING PRESENTED WITH HIS OWN ALPINA WATCH, “IT’S SLICK”.
“It’s slick”

There is normally only one way to get past the doorman at the Boudoir at Coco de Ville, the very exclusive LA nightclub…and that is to be on the list. But what if you are not on the list? Thanks to alpina Watches of Geneva, Switzerland, on the evening of Saturday 2nd October, a lucky few had the chance to dance the night away with stars such as Eva Longoria, Ashley Greene, Holly Marie Combs and Shemar Moore. Star of film and TV, Laurence Fishburne, said on being presented with his own alpina watch, “It’s slick”.

To get in to this exclusive event, all the would be guests had to do was come up with the most original, witty or creative chat up line, and if the Doorman liked it, they were in.

The brand new Club series
For one night only guests who wanted to get into the Club but were not on the list had the chance thanks to the alpina Doorman Challenge. This is the second time that alpina Watches have run the Challenge and both times it has been a great success. This was an opportunity for alpina to demonstrate their most recent collection of affordable, desirable, luxury watches, with the launch of the brand new Club series of watches taking centre stage.

Once inside, the lucky winners were treated to the best music on the scene, (provided by star DJ Adventure), fabulous gourmet treats (from Funkin) and speciality drinks from Zarb Champagne and President’s tequila and walked away with a goodie bag packed with great gifts provided by partners for the evening such as the exclusive Beverly Hills SLS Hotel, Rockstar Jeans and the luxury jewelers Soho Hearts. And of course, they were able to try on alpina’s new collection on avant premiere.

An alpina watch allows the wearer to be properly dressed wherever they are, whether it is in the boardroom or on the dance floor. That is why we chose Boudoir for the launch, where being properly dressed is a prerequisite of getting in. It was a tremendous evening and everyone had a brilliant time.

We are really proud of this new collection. Our new Club collection are Swiss made luxury time pieces and have a suggested retail price of only $950 for the Club Chronograph going up to just $2950 for the above Manufacture Regulator, with its movement made by ourselves, a rare achievement by a watch company.
