The combination of the"stealth" black case colour and the luxury dial finishes results in a perfect combination of strict pilot functionalities and an elegant, yet expert design.


A legendary aviation heritage
In the first 50 years of the past century Alpina was a renowned manufacturer and official supplier of military aviation watches to continental air forces. Early aviation pioneers had strict requirements: their instruments had to be extremely precise and provide ultimate shock resistance. In addition, Alpina pilot's watches were mostly equipped with an anti-magnetic case, a high-contrast dial with oversized luminous numerals and luminous hands for instant readability

The Startimer "Black Star" encases the Alpina AL-860 Automatic Chronograph movement with "Bi-Compax" 60 seconds and 30 minutes small counter layout. The "Bi-Compax" dial layout is ideal for time readability, a must for professional pilot watches. The case-back is transparent and the 44mm case is 100m (300ft) water-resistant.
