Product Recall: Alpina AL-287XXXX Watches
At Alpina, we are committed to ensuring the quality and safety of our products at every stage of their design, production and manufacture. As part of our ongoing evaluation process, we have identified a potential problem with our Alpina watch calibre starting with AL-287XXXX.
As a result, we have decided to voluntarily recall all watches corresponding to the reference where the defect was detected.
Description of the Problem: A malfunction of the sensors, when the watch is in sleep mode, may cause the watch to overheat and result in a possible skin injury.
Measures Taken: Following the first incident report, confirmed by our quality workshop, we have decided to voluntarily recall all watches of reference AL-287XXXX with this defect.
Products Concerned : The serial number ranges added at the end of the press release are affected by this recall. You can find the number on the mobile application.
Instructions to Consumers: If you own one of these watches, please stop using it immediately.
