Nils Allegre

Nils Allègre è uno sciatore alpino francese specializzato nelle gare di velocità (discesa libera e super-G). Ha iniziato a sciare all'età di due anni e mezzo con i genitori a Serre Chevalier ed è entrato a far parte della squadra francese nel 2011. Dopo aver fatto la gavetta nelle categorie giovanili e aver partecipato alle prime gare di Coppa Europa, Nils ha fatto il suo debutto in Coppa del Mondo nel 2014. I suoi progressi sono stati costanti, fino a diventare doppio campione francese di super-G e di combinata nel 2018 e poi secondo classificato in super-G nel 2019. Le sue prestazioni in Coppa del Mondo sono migliorate nel corso delle stagioni, con diversi piazzamenti nella Top 10, tra cui il 4° posto in super-G a Garmisch-Partenkirchen nel 2021. Ha partecipato anche ai Campionati mondiali di sci, dove si è classificato 7° nella discesa libera di Cortina d'Ampezzo nello stesso anno. Dopo aver rappresentato la Francia ai Giochi Olimpici di Pechino nel 2022, ha vinto il suo primo titolo di Coppa del Mondo nel Super-G di Garmisch-Partenkirchen nel 2024. Questo successo testimonia la costante ascesa di questo promettente sciatore di velocità.

What motivates you every day to surpass yourself?

Trying to be better than the day before, going for every last hundredth on the skis. To feel the adrenalin of competition, the pleasure of sliding, the lightness of the jumps and the purity of speed.

What is your best sporting memory?

My first World Cup win last year in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It was a childhood dream come true!

What message would you give to young people who want to follow in your footsteps?

Don't follow in their footsteps, go your own way, that's the most important thing!
