Tina: Very attached to her roots and country to which she dedicates her victories, she also promotes Slovenian tourism and always come back to her hometown where she loves meeting with youngsters and young athletes.

About Tina Maze


Born on 2.5.1983, she learned skiing with three years in her hometown surroundings and slopes. In primary school, in addition to skiing, she also trained volleyball and studied piano. After primary school she attended high school in Ravne na Koroškem and was simultaneously accepted in the Slovenian women B ski team. A lot of nice memories are bounding her to those times, because that was also the time when she started racing in World Cup and soon started to achieve best results. In 2008, she established a new team with companion Andrea Massi, called Team to aMAZE, and took another road. This decision turned out to be the right one and has brought her greatest success so far. After having won many victories in the Ski World Cup and obtained several World Championships and Olympic medals, the Season 2012/2013 could be defined the Season of the records and thanks to these unimaginable results.
