ALPINA SUPPORTS THE NO DIFFERENCE ASSOCIATION

Alpina Watches is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Geneva-based No Difference association. Unique in Switzerland, it supports people with disabilities to achieve their dreams and overcome challenges, especially when it comes to sport, and to facilitate their social integration by excelling themselves. Invested in the world of sport since it was founded and eager to support athletes on the rise, the Brand will provide the association with several of its latest smart AlpinerX Alive sports watches, so as to allow its members to measure their sports performance. In 2021, Alpina Watches will also make its new Seastrong Diver Gyre Automatic available to members, most notably in the context of the Arctic Marathon 2021. 

The background to the collaboration

The collaboration between Alpina Watches and the No Difference association has its origins within the watch brand itself. Every year at Alpina Watches, an ideas competition is held for employees, to bring a proposal or a project to life. In 2020, the partnership with the No Difference association was suggested with a view to supporting the "Défi de l’Extrême 2021" involving Jean-Michel taking on the Spitsbergen Marathon - the most northern land-based marathon in the world - in a wheelchair. Sport having been at the heart of the watch manufacturer for almost 140 years, it was only natural that Alpina Watches chose to bring this project to fruition, as well as support the association's various sporting activities.
