This unique variation of the Startimer Pilot Solarmetre features a stunning blue grained dial that captures light without revealing the technology it houses. While preserving the historic design codes of Alpina’s aviation line, it incorporates touches of Super-LumiNova® blue on the logo at 12 o’clock and on the second hand’s counterweight. This contemporary look is perfectly complemented by a navy blue fabric strap with tone-on-tone stitching.
Meticulous Finishing
With its compact 38-mm diameter, this timepiece fits any wrist and offers optimal comfort for everyday wear. The stainless steel case features remarkable finishing: a circular satin-finished bezel, lugs, and a case middle with a vertical satin finish, contrasted by mirror-polished and beveled edges. The dial also features a discreet date window at the 3 o’clock position.
Autonomy and durability
Beneath the dial lies a smart integrated circuit paired with a battery that stores energy converted by the solar cells. This state-of-the-art movement, the AL-140 caliber, autonomously manages energy flows to power the watch immediately or store electricity for later use.
