Thibault Magnin

Thibault Magnin, né le 2 septembre 2000, est un skieur professionnel possédant la double nationalité suisse et espagnole. Bien qu'il soit né et ait grandi en Suisse, il représente l'Espagne dans les compétitions internationales. Spécialisé en slopestyle et big air, il a participé aux Jeux olympiques d'hiver de Pékin en 2022. En 2024, Thibault a reçu une wildcard pour participer au Freeride World Tour (FWT), marquant ainsi sa transition vers le freeride après une carrière réussie en freestyle. Puis, en 2025, Thibault décide de retourner sur sa discipline fétiche et se ré-aligne sur le Circuit Coupe du monde de freestyle avec pour objectif de briller lors des Jeux Olympiques de Cortina en 2026. En dehors du ski, Thibault est passionné de surf et de kitesurf, disciplines qu'il pratique intensément durant l'été. Thibault Magnin incarne une nouvelle génération d’athlètes talentueux et polyvalents, excellant à la fois en freestyle et en freeride, tout en s’imposant comme une figure inspirante dans le monde du ski.

What motivates you every day to surpass yourself?

The opportunity to live my life to the fullest and become the best version of myself, as a person, a human & an athlete, and with that inspire the world with what I do and who I am.

What is your best sporting memory?

I would say the opening ceremony of the 2022 Olympics was a really special moment for me.

What message would you give to young people who want to follow in your footsteps?

Just be you, follow your heart and believe in your dreams! And whatever people think different of you, it's your strength, use it!

If you had to keep just 4 of the brand's products, which would you choose?

My favourite is the ALPINER Extreme Quartz, and then the ALPINER Extreme Automatic / Extreme Skeleton Automatic and finally the SEASTRONG.
