Aelan Vaast

Originally from Tahiti, Aelan Vaast is a professional surfer born and raised to the rhythm of Teahupo’o’s legendary waves. Based in Tahiti and traveling most of the year for international competitions, she is building her career at the highest level with determination and discipline. A member of the French National Team, Aelan stands out for her power in Polynesia’s hollow waves as much as for her adaptability on beach breaks and the technical spots of the world tour. Her versatility and mental strength are now among her greatest assets. In 2025, she finished 3rd on the WQS Tahiti/Hawaii regional circuit— a major achievement that qualified her for the 2026 Challenger Series, a key step toward surfing’s global elite. Alongside her sporting career, Aelan is in her third year of business school, developing a strategic and entrepreneurial vision of her journey as an athlete. She embodies a new generation of sportswomen: ambitious, committed, and fully aware of her image, capable of performing both in the water and beyond. Aelan Vaast moves forward with a clear trajectory: to pursue excellence and establish herself among the world’s very best.
