2017 NOVELTY SEASTRONG DIVER 300 – A DIVER’S MUST-HAVE
May 2017, Geneva – Alpina introduces an all-steel version of the iconic diver’s watch featuring every lifesaving characteristics that truly define a diving watch. The Seastrong Diver 300 was designed with all the necessary features that allow divers to get the information they need, when they need it, for a safe dive.
Diving Codes
The new edition of the Seastrong Diver 300 remains faithful to the aesthetics that make this watch so recognizable, including: an oversized case, luminous indexes, which offer optimal visibility, and a uni-directional bezel, which protects the number of elapsed minutes, thus preventing them from never being accidentally decreased; only increased. Made to resist extreme conditions, it completes the essential requirements for experienced divers.
Past influencing the Present
Directly inspired from the past, the new Seastrong Diver 300 is a descendent of the Alpina watches of the last century. Namely the 1960s Seastrong “10” which at the time was already capable of reaching depths of 200m/660ft. Diving history has been a part of the Alpina DNA and its sea universe for more than 50 years and this new addition to the Seastrong Collection continues its legitimate legacy.
Technical details
The fierce diver’s features of the watch seamlessly merge with the strong design, making it unmistakably an Alpina watch. The Seastrong Diver 300 presents a 44m case, with either a dark grey or a navy blue 60 minute bezel, a black dial that highly contrasts with the large luminous indexes and hours, minutes and seconds hands. The date window is featured at 3 o’clock, and the see-through caseback gives a detailed view of the AL-525 automatic movement and the screw-in crown offers an added security while diving.
The Seastrong Diver 300 is the ideal embodiment of a diver’s watch, offering three defining elements: optimal readability, resilient to extreme conditions, and lifesaving characteristics. This watch is definitely a must among every diver’s gear.
