TINA MAZE WINS TWO GOLD MEDALS AND ONE SILVER MEDAL AT THE 2015 VAIL SKI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS AND UNVEILS THE NEW ALPINA COMTESSE LADIES COLLECTION
Just minutes after the medals ceremony in the main square of Vail, Tina Maze and Alpina unveiled the new Alpina COMTESSE ladies line, a new range of luxury mechanical lady timepieces by the Geneva Brand, at the Vail Swiss Chalet. Swiss luxury sport watch manufacturer Alpina came to Vail to support its global brand ambassadress, Tina Maze, in her quest for additional FIS Ski World Championship medals.
In 1963 Alpina first launched its COMTESSE ladies collection with automatic movements and this year Alpina re-introduces this important line to mark its long tradition in the design of fine ladies sport watches, which began in the 1920's.
The new range of Alpina COMTESSE watches is a delightful balance of sportiness and elegance. The COMTESSE line embodies the concept of Swiss Alpine Chic, which recalls the timeless Alpine glamour of the St. Moritz style to the fullest: Character, Luxury and Simplicity. Ladies will love the elegant yet strong presence of this watch. The new collection consists of 5 watches, which range from a stainless steel model to a yellow gold two-tone model with a diamonds bezel and 11 diamonds on the dial. All models feature a refined guilloche pattern of the Alpina triangle symbol on the dial and are 100M/330ft water-resistant.
Guido Benedini, Alpina CEO, says, "Tina Maze is an incredible athlete and a real role model for women around the world. Her first race was truly amazing and we are honored to be able to unveil our new Comtesse collection with her here in Vail."
