Nils Allegre

Nils Allègre is a French alpine skier specialising in speed events (downhill and super-G). He started skiing at the age of two and a half with his parents in Serre Chevalier and joined the French ski team in 2011. After working his way up through the youth categories and taking part in his first European Cup competitions, Nilsmade his World Cup debut in 2014. He progressed steadily, becoming double French super-G and combined champion in 2018, then French super-G runner-up in 2019. His World Cup performances have improved over the seasons, with several Top 10 finishes, including 4th place in super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2021. He has also competed in the World Ski Championships, where he finished 7th in the downhill at Cortina d'Ampezzo the same year. After representing France at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2022, he went on to win his first World Cup title in the Super-G at Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2024. This success testifies to the steady rise of this promising speed skier.

What motivates you every day to surpass yourself?

Trying to be better than the day before, going for every last hundredth on the skis. To feel the adrenalin of competition, the pleasure of sliding, the lightness of the jumps and the purity of speed.


What is your best sporting memory?

My first World Cup win last year in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It was a childhood dream come true!


What message would you give to young people who want to follow in your footsteps?

Don't follow in their footsteps, go your own way, that's the most important thing!
