Aelan Vaast

Originally from Tahiti, Aelan Vaast is a talented young surfer who grew up surrounded by the waves of Teahupo'o. She moved to France in 2020 to pursue both her studies and her sporting career, and has quickly established herself as one of France's surfing hopefuls. A member of the French national team, Aelan shines on all types of waves, from powerful Tahitian barrels to the more technical waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Her track record is testament to her versatility and determination: Aquitaine champion, French runner-up and 4th European junior. Despite a busy 2024 with business school studies, modelling and her brother Kauli's Olympic medal, Aelan continued to perform on the professional circuit, finishing 9th in Anglet and winning the French Open title. Aelan Vaast represents the future of French surfing and promises great performances in the years tocome.
