Léo Coppel

Léo Coppel is a young alpine skier from Les Gets in France, now performing at the highest level of competition. After his first season on the FIS circuit, he quickly caused a sensation by winning international races in every discipline of alpine skiing. In 2022, he reached the pinnacle by becoming French Champion in the U21 Giant Slalom, and finishing at the 5th place in the overall French Championships.

Léo continued his ascent by taking part in his first European Cups and winning selection for the Junior World Championships, which were held in St Anton, Austria, in January 2023. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to take a break, but after six long months of rehabilitation, he is once again ready to take on a new season. His goals are clear: he is aiming for further participations in the European Cups and hopes to be selected for the Junior World Championships, which will be held in his home resort in early 2024. Finally, he intends to defend his title of French Giant Slalom Champion at the end of the season, a title he was unable to retain due to injury.

But Léo doesn't limit himself to alpine skiing. He is passionate about a wide range of board sports, including surfing, foiling and wakeboarding. He embodies the different worlds of Alpina with talent, adding a versatile dimension to his sporting career.
