Victor Muffat-Jeandet

Victor Muffat Jeandet (born March 5, 1989) is a French World Cup alpine skier. Born in Aix les Bains, Savoie, he made his World Cup debut in February 2009 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Hardworking, disciplined, and perfectionist by nature, he values a job well done. Very demanding with himself, his efforts pay off season after season. He achieved his first podium in 2015, finishing second in the super combined in Wengen, Switzerland. He also took part in the 2013 and 2015 World Championships. In 2018, he competed in his first Olympic Games in PyeongChang, where he won his first medal — a bronze in the alpine combined. That same year, he also claimed his first World Cup victory in the combined event in Wengen. In 2020, Victor reached two World Cup podiums, finishing third in both the combined and the giant slalom in Wengen and Adelboden, Switzerland. In 2021, he took second place in the World Cup slalom in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, was crowned French champion in slalom, super-G, and combined, and ranked tenth in the overall World Cup slalom standings.

Without hesitation, my participation in the Olympic Games and my medal. It was a waking dream, filled with memories and emotions that will last a lifetime!

What message would you give to young people who wish to follow in your footsteps?

Fight for your dreams! Whatever you do, give it your all so you’ll have no regrets. Don’t assume things are set in stone, and never stop believing in yourself because no one else will do it for you!

If you could only keep four products from the brand, which ones would you choose?

I’ll choose the pieces that have left the biggest mark on me in the brand’s history ;-) :
• Avalanche Extreme Regulator (2000s): the first watch that introduced me to the brand.
• Alpiner 4 Chronograph Manufacture Flyback Black (2016): the most beautiful piece in my collection, entirely made in Plan-les-Ouates.
• Alpiner 4 Automatic Shadow Line (2019): simple and efficient, full black with a touch of red that gives it a “Star Wars, dark side, Darth Vader” vibe ;-)
• Alpiner Extreme Skeleton Automatic (2025) Steel Bracelet: I’m very happy to have contributed to the revival of the legendary “Extreme” line, the brand’s emblematic model. I love the Skeleton design — seeing the entire movement in action is absolutely fascinating.
